Employees needed a better way to find information in technical documentation. After a Quick Scan and pilot, Datacation built AI assistant Sam to help them search internal documents and see the source of an answer.
AI assistant Nova helps employees find answers about processes, safety and house rules. They can ask questions through a web app or Teams and see the source of an answer. Bos Nieuwerkerk & HeatMatrix now also uses the AI Hub.
Datacation built an AI application that classifies incoming sales emails by type, customer type and engine type, helping the team sort requests without first reading every message by hand.
Datacation built a decision matrix that checks whether hazardous goods are stored correctly using information from safety data sheets.
Camera images help count serving ware and drinks returned from flights, giving the team information about what comes back on board.
A Quick Scan brought together an assessment of data maturity, possible AI applications and a roadmap for deciding what to tackle first.

Floris leads our Manufacturing & Logistics sector. With a background in operations management and logistics, he joined Datacation in 2023 to make optimisation techniques work in industry. Today he helps companies decide where to start with AI, combining technical depth and business sense.
