Stage 01
Datacation is an active voice in healthcare. We give keynotes, guest lectures and sessions on AI in care, responsible AI use and the validation of high-risk AI. Through teaching and research with Avans, TU/e, Tilburg University and JADS, we stay close to new developments and share them with the next generation.

Iris leads our Healthcare sector. Before joining Datacation in 2025, she completed her PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Medical Image Analysis at UMC Utrecht. She combines deep knowledge of medical AI with a focus on solutions that work in daily care.

Proven in practice
After surgery, scar tissue and returning tumours can look alike on a CT scan. With UMC Utrecht we developed AI that segments the pancreas on these scans, and we are now developing a model that flags possible recurrence, with visual explanations for radiologists.
