Datacation x Straight Line Leadership | 24 November, Eindhoven

An afternoon on leadership and AI, with two masterclasses by Datacation.

On Tuesday 24 November we are organising an afternoon with Straight Line Leadership at the AI Innovation Center on the High Tech Campus in Eindhoven. The programme covers leading at the top and introducing AI in your organisation. The two belong together. Whether AI sticks in an organisation depends more on the choices leaders make than on the technology.

Datacation gives two AI masterclasses. Straight Line Leadership and Exclusief Strategisch Leiderschap lead the sessions on leadership. After the programme there is time to talk with the speakers and the other participants.

Programme and speakers

AI sovereignty in practice

Ralf Zoetekouw, founder of Datacation

Many organisations see AI sovereignty as a choice between building everything yourself and buying everything. Ralf shows that you make that trade-off per layer of your AI landscape. In some places you simply move with the market. In others you want to stay in control, especially where your organisation is unique, such as your data, your domain knowledge and your processes. He illustrates this with client cases.

Redesigning processes with AI

Max Roeters, Business Development Manager at Datacation

Most organisations look for an AI tool first and then for a place to use it. Max turns that around. He shows how to rebuild a process with AI as the starting point and which building blocks you need. He also covers what happens after the first few weeks, because that is when you find out whether your team keeps using the solution.

Leading at the top

Kristof Cuppens, Managing Partner of Straight Line Leadership

With twenty people you can be everywhere as a leader. With eighty that no longer works, and it does not need to. Kristof discusses what that next growth step asks of you and how to build ownership in your team, so your people raise the bar themselves instead of looking to you for every decision.

Taking a position at the board table

Wilma Boer, owner of Exclusief Strategisch Leiderschap

Your role gives you a seat at the table. Whether you can give direction there when interests clash depends on the position you dare to take. Wilma draws on her experience of leadership in the public sector, where subject knowledge alone is not enough. She shows how position, behaviour and relationships behind the scenes shape your influence as a leader.

What you take away

You leave with tools you can use in your management meeting the next morning. You know which position you take at the table now and which one you need. You know how to build ownership in your team. And you have an approach for redesigning a first process with AI and for deciding, layer by layer, what you keep in your own hands.

Who it is for

The afternoon is intended for board members, executives, innovation managers and founders of medium-sized and large organisations who decide on their organisation's direction. There are at most 100 places, so there is room for conversation.
