Within the so-called Worlds, creators share their stories and build their personal brand, while fans discover and shop. Where algorithm-driven social media feeds and 24-hour story formats make content and deals disappear quickly, they remain visible and relevant in WOW, enabling collaborations to generate returns for longer and drive more conversions.
The resulting data provides creators and brands with insights into fan interactions and collaborations, helps WOW continuously improve the user experience, and makes it possible to better predict campaigns with creators for brands.
World of WOW wanted to improve data processing and analysis within their platform to gain better insights into user statistics and platform performance. There was a need for a robust data infrastructure to support the further implementation of dashboarding and AI applications. Given the dynamics of a startup, it was essential that this infrastructure was realized quickly.
Datacation set up a robust data infrastructure that forms the foundation for future data-driven applications. We started by analyzing relevant data sources and identifying the most suitable technologies for the data infrastructure. Attention was also given to expanding user statistics to make more insights and KPIs measurable.
Next, we unlocked and integrated various data sources so they were ready for further processing and analysis. An initial Power BI dashboard was created to demonstrate the information within the data platform.
Finally, we delivered extensive technical documentation and handed over the solution to the World of WOW team, enabling them to continue the further development
With the established data infrastructure, World of WOW now has a solid and flexible foundation that makes it possible to quickly implement data-driven applications such as dashboards and AI tools.
